The Dark Dunes team is thrilled to report that Yamasong: March of the Hollows is moving full steam ahead. Many of the puppets and miniature sets are completed and they are a sight to behold.
We also are thrilled to announce that, as executive producers, Toby Froud and Heather Henson will be presenting this film! It is an honor to have two artists and filmmakers so integral to continuing puppetry in film bring their respective legacies to Yamasong. Toby Froud’s latest short film Lessons Learned is a gorgeous vision that has stirred up a lot of excitement in the entertainment world for puppet films and continuing the fantastical Froud tradition. Heather Henson’s IBEX Puppetry company has been working for 14 years to outreach and further the fine art of puppetry. Dark Dunes Productions is proud to have Toby and Heather on the Yamasong team.
